Trio Mandili is a Georgian musical group founded in 2014 when its first video clip was published online. The trio’s female singers perform traditional Georgian polyphonic songs accompanied by a pandouri.
The Mandili trio quickly became popular in Georgia, releasing two albums “With Love” (2015) and “Enguro” (2017) and representing Georgia at the Eurovision contest in 2017.
After several changes, the Mandili trio is composed, since 2018, of Tatuli Mgeladze on vocals, Tako Tsiklauri on vocals and Mariam Kurasbediani on vocals and pandouri.
In 2021, the Georgian trio released their third album entitled “Sakartvelo” (Georgia), it contains 10 songs of pure Georgian sound. The name is not a coincidence: the songs come from different regions of Georgia: Guria, Svanetia, Kakhetia, Tuchetia…
In April 2022, they launched a program called Mandili cares, which consists in collecting funds to distribute basic necessities to Ukrainian refugees in Poland.
