Marcela Morelo is an Argentine singer-songwriter of Latin music who fuses Latin pop with various genres such as merengue, salsa and bolero.
In 1997, she released her first album, Manantial, with a collection of songs she had written, including “Corazón salvaje” (“Wild Heart”). The album went gold after three months, and then went platinum.
She has released a dozen albums, many of them critically acclaimed, gold and platinum. Five of her albums have also won Gardel Awards, Argentina’s most prestigious music award.
In 2021, she will perform the song “La Vida Es un Carnaval” in a duet with the Argentinean cumbia group “Los Palmeras” and in 2022 in a duet with the Argentinean singer “Diego Torres” the song “Chau – Me Puedo Equivoca”.
