Adriano Celentano

Adriano Celentano is an Italian singer-songwriter, singer, actor, director, screenwriter and presenter. In Italy, he is nicknamed “Il Molleggiato” (the man mounted on springs) or “L’Urlatore” (the man who screams). Major artist of the Italian song, he has sold more than two hundred million records in the world.

His first singles, made of American rock covers, were released in 1958, but were not very successful. Adriano Celentano produced his first songs in Italian in 1959. The successes are numerous among which the “Ciao ragazzi” in 1964, the year he meets the one that will become his wife, Claudia Mori. Some discs know less immediate success as the title “Il Ragazzo della via Gluck”, but become with the time popular titles.

After eighteen years of absence, Adriano Celentano returns to the stage on October 8 and 9, 2012 for two historic concerts, outdoors in the Arena of Verona, both broadcast live on Canale 5 under the title “Rock Economy”.

In 2016 he released the album “Le Migliori” with the singer Mina considered the greatest Italian singer whose repertoire ranges from jazz to Neapolitan song through pop and the so-called “text” song.
